Who Are Those Who Send You Into the Past — And Bring You Back?

When someone enters a Past Life Regression session — the first question that arises is this. "Who is taking me into my past lives? Who explains those scenes, who gives direction forward — who is that?"
The answer is — Spirit Guides.
But there is enormous confusion around Spirit Guides. Some people think they are ghosts and spirits. Some think they are mere imagination. And some become so enthusiastic that they begin asking them about everything.
Today, let us understand this subject properly — from the ground up.
Who are Spirit Guides?
Spirit Guides are divine souls who reside in the Fifth Dimension — the Pancham Aayam. The greatest quality of this dimension is that time and space have no boundaries here. These forces can see the past, see the future, and travel anywhere across all of creation.
We, living in this three-dimensional world, can only see the present. This is why our decisions are incomplete. We cannot see what lies ahead, and we have forgotten what lies behind.
These divine forces look from above — the way someone standing on a mountain peak sees the entire path laid out below. They know where your soul has come from, which karmic accounts it is entangled in, and in which direction it must move forward. This is why they can offer true guidance.
The great forces one has had the fortune of encountering
Across hundreds of Past Life Regression sessions, many divine presences have appeared. Every person's guides are different — because whoever has a connection with a person, that very soul comes to assist them.
Mahavatar Babaji — the divine yogi of the Himalayas who performed tapasya in the mountains in the 19th century. In many seekers' sessions, he has appeared as a Spirit Guide.
Neem Karoli Baba — who is also called an incarnation of Hanuman Ji. His presence comes in the sessions of those who had a connection with him in some lifetime.
Premanand Ji Maharaj — the saint of Vrindavan who is still in his body today. But souls who are truly ascetic have a Higher Self — which, beyond the body, in its unmanifest form, continues to serve.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Guru Ram Das Ji — these great saints of the Sikh tradition have been witnessed in many sessions. Souls connected to them see them as their guides.
Brahma Baba and Jagdamba Saraswati Mamma — who became the instruments for carrying the divine knowledge of Supreme Father God Shiva to the world. They appear before souls who are connected to them.
Hanuman Ji, Shri Krishna, Maa Durga, Maa Kali, Maa Kamakhya, Bholenath — all of these have been witnessed across different sessions. Whichever force a person shares an old connection with — that very force manifests before them.
Jesus Christ — whether Indian or foreign, Jesus Christ has come as a guide in the sessions of many people.
Shri Swami Samarth Ji — the great saint of Maharashtra, known as Brahmand Nayak — the Master of the Universe. In the session of a child from Maharashtra, he himself appeared.
Ancestors too are Guides — the protectors of the family
Not every guide is a great saint. In many families there are Pitrs — great-grandparents, ancestors — who have taken upon themselves the responsibility of protecting and nurturing their lineage.
They give memories to their family members. They show the right path. They protect them in times of crisis. In many sessions, a person's ancestors themselves appear as their guides.
So it is not necessary that your guide must be some great saint. It could be a magnificent soul from within your own family.
Each guide has their own domain of work
This is important to understand — not all guides are the same. Every force has its own duty.
Some forces look after only one family. Some look after their devotees. Some look after their disciples — from whichever lifetime that person accepted them as their Guru. Once someone has accepted them as Guru — they continue their care across lifetimes.
Some forces protect a specific region, a community, a nation. And some forces are instruments for the care of the entire world.
There is no hierarchy of greater or lesser here. Everyone has their own part. Everyone has their own duty. And all are performing this service while remembering God alone.
Garud Dev — an extraordinary experience
When the journey of Past Life Regression began — the very first Spirit Guide who appeared was Garud Dev. A vast and magnificent bird.
At first, it made no sense. People see saints, people see deities — why does a bird appear here?
Slowly, understanding came — the knowledge that Garud Purana symbolizes is the knowledge of karma and its fruits. This action done in wrong — will lead to this consequence. This merit earned — will yield this fruit. And this is precisely the essence of Past Life Regression — whatever difficulty exists in the present, which karma from a past life lies behind it.
During meditation, when battles with negative forces would arise — Garud Dev would appear, seizing that serpent-form of darkness and destroying it. This was a seeker's inner war — and Garud Dev was the protector in that war.
Do not ask Spirit Guides about the future
One very important thing. When people discover that Spirit Guides can see past and future both — a desire rises in the mind. "Oh, then ask them — will I get the job? Will the marriage happen? Will the business profit?"
This is wrong. And these Guides themselves do not like answering such questions. This has been experienced again and again — as long as the questions were connected to the present circumstances of life, the guides continued speaking. The moment questions like "what will happen ahead" arrived — they either fell silent, or simply left.
Because the future is built by your own actions. It is not pre-decided. If you perform good deeds, practice sadhana, offer service — then the future will be better. No guide can do that work for you.
The purpose of Past Life Regression is only this — to understand: behind the difficulty of the present, which old karmic account is responsible? To know that account, to form the intention of settling it, and to carry life in a better direction. That is all.
More than one guide is also possible
It is also not necessary that every person has only one guide. Some souls are such that more than one great force plays the role of guide in their life. Whichever force was practiced in whichever lifetime — all of them are still with that soul today.
But when more than one force is present — a choice must be made. In this life, which goal are you walking toward? In accordance with that goal, choose one force as your guiding shelter. Respect all the rest — but do not scatter yourself.
They are — those divine souls with whom you carry an ancient bond. Those who guided you, those whom you sought. Who are watching your journey from the Fifth Dimension — and when you need help, they come.
Do not ask them for the future. Ask them for strength. Ask them for direction. Ask them for this — may my karmic accounts be cleared swiftly. May the force of my sadhana grow.
And the service they wish to accomplish through your hands — do that. Without ego. As an instrument. Because whatever service God has assigned to whoever — their own upliftment lies in that very service.
