A Dark Force Made Me Do It.. So Who Bears the Sin?? — Both of Them, and Here Is Why.

A Dark Force Made Me Do It.. So Who Bears the Sin?? — Both of Them, and Here Is Why.

A very important question came in — "Brother, suppose a person behaves badly with their parents. But they do so because they are under the influence of an evil force. So who bears the sin? The evil force? Or the person?"

This question is not merely a curiosity. It is a question whose answer affects the lives of many people — because these days, the influence of negative energies in homes has become very common.

And many times people excuse themselves by thinking — "There was an influence over me. What could I do?"

So let us answer this question with complete clarity.

The Direct Answer — Both Bear the Sin

Neither the evil force is excused, nor the person.

The evil force that uses a person as its instrument to cause harm — it absolutely bears sin. And the person who, coming under that influence, does wrong — they bear sin too.

But here is something most people do not know — none of this happens without a reason.

Nothing Happens Without a Reason

If an evil force made someone its instrument — it means that person had some old account with that force. Only then did it come. Only then was it able to make them its instrument.

And the family being troubled through that person — they too have some old account with that force, somewhere. Sometimes a force is sent through a tantric — and even the one who sent it has some old dealings with all of them.

This is why the whole situation becomes so entangled — many souls, many accounts, all interconnected.

"There Was an Influence Over Me" — You Will Not Escape With This

Here is something very important to understand.

Suppose there is a person. A negative force comes and whispers in their ear — "Be rude to your mother." And that person, upon hearing it, behaves rudely.

So what was their mistake? They listened to that voice. They accepted that influence.

Did they not know that being rude to a mother is wrong? They knew. Every person is taught this from childhood. Every religion says it. Every elder teaches it.

So if you knew it was wrong — and still did it — you cannot escape your responsibility.

Ego — The Greatest Weapon of Evil Forces

Here is an even deeper truth. Evil forces do not create new sins — they amplify what is already within you.

If there is a little ego inside you — that force comes and doubles it. There is a little anger — it inflames that anger further. There is a little jealousy — it deepens it even more.

Meaning it turns your own weakness into its weapon. And the greater your weakness — the greater their influence.

This is why those who practise sadhana, who meditate, who reduce their inner vices — these forces cannot affect them as strongly. Because the weakness within them keeps diminishing.

The COVID Lesson — If You Go Without Protection, You Will Fall Ill

When COVID-19 came — we all knew the virus was in the air. Those who went into crowds without masks and protection — they fell ill.

And they could not say "I fell ill because of the virus." Because the virus was there, yes — but not taking protection was their own mistake.

In the same way — in Kaliyug, negativity is all around. Knowing this, if you do no sadhana, keep no spiritual protection, keep no sattvic force with you — negative forces will influence you.

And when they do — you cannot escape your responsibility by saying "There was an influence over me."

A Sister's Story — Who Would Not Accept Even a Small Suggestion

A sister was deeply troubled. An eerie presence was felt in her home. Arguments in the family. Frightening dreams at night. A heaviness throughout the house.

In conversation it emerged — meat was being cooked in the house every day. She was told that where meat is cooked — tamasic forces come easily and stay there. She was asked — at minimum, keep yourself sattvic. Take a room nearby within the same home, cook your own food separately.

The sister refused. She said — "Brother, I cannot leave my mother."

But who said to leave? Live five houses away. Go visit every day. But do not live in that environment.

Due to her habits, due to her attachment, that sister kept living in that environment. And she kept suffering.

Whose responsibility is this? It is her own.

Punya — The Shield That Stops the Wrong

Those who donate, who help others, who serve living beings, who care for nature — an invisible protection travels with them.

When a negative force begins to approach them — their accumulated punya (merit) and the blessings of others come in between. "Not this one. This one is ours."

And those who accumulate no punya, do no sadhana, do not examine their own vices — they have no such protection. So when a negative force comes — there is nothing to stop it.

This is why earning punya, doing seva, practising sadhana — these are not merely religious acts. They are your spiritual protection.

So What Should You Do?

First — if you ever make a mistake while under an influence, stop in that very moment. Feel it. And decide it will not happen again.

Second — try to reduce that influence. Do sadhana. Keep a divine force with you. Create a sattvic environment at home. Light incense, lamps.

Third — have the courage to let go of the habits and environments that attract such forces. Tamasic food, negative people, anger and jealousy — all of these open the door to those forces.

And fourth — drop the excuse of "There was an influence over me." Accept your responsibility. It is only when we accept responsibility that the possibility of change begins.

In Closing..

The evil force will face the consequences of its sin — in this birth or in another. There is no escape from that.

And the person who came under its influence — they came because of their own weakness. Their responsibility does not leave them either.

But finally, a word of hope — one who understands their responsibility, who tries to change themselves, who practises sadhana — the influence in their life begins to diminish. And a day comes when those forces no longer have the courage to enter their life.

Because when there is light within — darkness cannot stay.
